Computer classes from York County libraries

The York County Library System offers computer classes at its Technology Training Center, 118 Pleasant Acres Road. For more information or for required registration, call Jeanina 586-1878.
These classes are available in January:
---Beginning Microsoft Excel, 9 a.m.-noon Tuesday, Jan. 10 and 17 or 1-4 p.m. Monday, Jan. 23 and 30. This introductory class teaches students the basic skills they need to create spreadsheets. Students will learn how to access built-in formulas as well as how to create their own formulas. Cost is $100.
---Beginning Word, 1-4 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10 and 17. This introductory class teaches students the basic skills they need to create documents. Cost: $100.
---Know Your Computer, 9 a.m.-noon Wednesday, Jan. 11 and 18. This course is designed for people who have no computer background or very little experience with the computer. This hands-on course will cover the basic skills needed to use a computer and help you gain the confidence necessary to make it a productive tool. Cost: $100.
