How should I structure a MySql movie database?

My friends and I are working together to build a movie database. I'm getting good enough at PHP that I can start putting it online so we can all contribute individually. Until now it has all been in a single table with fields for actor, director, cinematographer,

Yes, multiple tables.

Actors are the easiest example to use. Most movies have more than 1 actor, so you have a 'one to many' relationship here. It makes sense to have an actor table with all the info about that actor (name, DOB, yadayadayada).
