Is there another way to access the a modem phone number database without the old modem?

A client of ours have this very old way of access their database which is through the old fashion modem and to access it, you need the modem phone number (this is pre-internet, pre-ip address). Just wondering if there's another way to access it without

Database will allow horse owners to check trainers' rulings

The website at thoroughbredrulings.com will allow users to browse rulings issued against Thoroughbred trainers. Users of the site can search by trainer, horse, racetrack, or racing jurisdiction, while ranges for queries can be narrowed by dates or the amount of the fine levied.

The service comes in response to some prospective owners, who say they can't readily determine if potential trainers have long records of rules violations.

"In response to recommendations from the recent McKinsey study, Thoroughbred Regulatory Rulings is one part of a strategic initiative to develop new information resources to assist owners and other decision makers in our industry," James Gagliano, president and chief operating officer of The Jockey Club, said. "This website was created as a service to the industry to make regulatory information more easily accessible. Over time, we will add more features to this database and eventually migrate it into a new, comprehensive website for owners."
