Networking - multiple access to a program's shared data?

Overview - 2 networked PCs that can share files/folders & internet connection via router & unmanaged switch. No configuration was done to router, except user/pass.

Problem - I installed a program for 2-user access. It has Advantage

Some things you should consider:
.Firewall on both PCs.
.Permission to access (network share) that shared folder.
.Permission for users to open that folder.
