Determining where data is being pulled from (MySQL database)?

Hi, This is for all you web programmers out there... I was wondering how to figure out where data is being pulled from, specifically when it is being pulled from a SQL database? For instance, on this page:

Short answer: You can't. At least, not legally. Databases are private to the owner, and you're only supposed to see what they want you to. Perhaps you could find a database or list free for download on the Internet, but you can't access a database that's
